SUSHI SERIES​

Inspired by my travels through Japan in 2018, the Sushi Series celebrates the country's remarkable balance between tradition and innovation. From the vibrant energy of Tokyo to the quiet rituals of a traditional Ryokan and the artistry of a multi-course Kaiseki meal, the experience revealed a culture where craftsmanship elevates even the simplest objects into works of art.

These playful, bite-sized techno-food assemblages fuse organic forms with mechanical elements, reimagining sushi through a distinctly contemporary lens. Blending humour with meticulous construction, the series pays tribute to Japan's ability to honour its cultural heritage while continually embracing the future, transforming a familiar culinary icon into a celebration of creativity, imagination and design.
