JOURNAL SERIES

The Journal Series marks a departure from my sculptural assemblages, exploring the intimate format of relief sculpture through the symbolism of books and journals. Inspired by the idea that objects accumulate stories over time, each work unfolds as a layered visual narrative, where found materials become fragments of memory, experience and personal history.

Built through successive layers of reclaimed objects and artefacts, the works evoke the feeling of treasured journals or cabinets of curiosity - repositories of moments collected, preserved and rediscovered.

Rather than documenting a single story, each assemblage invites viewers to construct their own narrative, reflecting on the lives objects have lived and the meanings they continue to carry.
